Safety and Quality

Laws and standards on ladders and scaffolding

We design and manufacture our products according to Legislative Decree No. 81 of 9 April 2008 "Consolidated Safety Act", which brings together all the provisions on occupational health and safety in the workplace required by Italian legislation. In addition, all Gierre ladders and stools have a product certification according to the specific existing standards: these standards provide for dimensional requirements and well-defined mechanical tests that ascertain the level of safety and construction quality of the product. The product is tested by an official certifying body that issues the relative Certificate of Product Compliance.
